Sponsorships help make Southern Arizona Construction Career Days accessible to students throughout the region. Funding supports transportation, student safety equipment, event infrastructure, hands-on learning activities, and other costs associated with hosting approximately 2,000 students.

The event primarily serves middle and high school students exploring careers in construction and the built environment. Students participate through their schools and rotate through hands-on learning areas led by industry professionals.

Yes. Organizations may participate as exhibitors, activity providers, educational partners, or volunteers, depending on available space and the needs of the event. Sponsorship provides additional recognition and helps offset the cost of student participation.

Most industry sponsorships include an opportunity to participate in the event. The type and size of the space may vary based on the sponsorship level and whether your organization is providing a hands-on activity, equipment demonstration, or informational booth.

We encourage activities that allow students to experience the industry rather than simply hear about it. Examples include:

• Equipment or technology demonstrations

• Construction-related simulations

• Tool or materials demonstrations

• Engineering and design challenges

• Safety activities

• Skilled-trade demonstrations

• Short, interactive career conversations

All proposed activities are reviewed for safety, space, and logistical requirements.

Yes, organizations bringing equipment, vehicles, trailers, or large displays. Sponsors and participants must coordinate with the planning team regarding delivery, placement, operation, safety requirements, and emergency access.

In-kind contributions may be accepted when they address an identified event need, such as personal protective equipment, transportation, food, equipment, printing, signage, or event supplies. In-kind contributions must be approved in advance and may not automatically qualify for the same benefits as a financial sponsorship.

Recognition varies by sponsorship level and may include:

• Placement on event materials and signage

• Recognition on the event website

• Social media recognition

• Inclusion in sponsor communications

• On-site visibility

• Opportunities to engage directly with students and educators

Recognition is dependent on sponsorship level, commitment date, and timely submission of logos and marketing materials.

Early commitments are strongly encouraged to ensure inclusion in printed materials, digital promotions, and event signage. Logos should be submitted in a high-resolution PNG, JPG, EPS, or SVG format as soon as the sponsorship is confirmed.

The tax treatment of a sponsorship depends on the payment structure and the benefits received. Sponsors should consult their tax adviser. Acknowledgment or payment documentation can be provided through the organization processing the sponsorship.
