Construction Career Days
October 21-22, 2026
Construction Career Days is Southern Arizona's premier hands-on career exploration event for middle school and high school students interested in learning about the construction industry and related fields.
Over the course of two days, students participate in interactive demonstrations, operate industry equipment, engage directly with employers and educators, and explore career pathways that align with their interests and goals. The event brings together construction companies, trade organizations, colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, and workforce partners to showcase the many opportunities available within the industry.
Students gain firsthand exposure to careers in construction trades, heavy equipment operation, engineering, architecture, construction management, safety, surveying, mining, and other high-demand professions. In addition to learning about careers, students can explore educational pathways—including dual enrollment opportunities, industry certifications, apprenticeships, workforce training, and college degree programs—that help them transition from education to employment.
More than an event, Construction Career Days is part of a broader effort to strengthen Southern Arizona's workforce pipeline by inspiring students, connecting industry with education, and building the future of our region, one student at a time.
