Building Tomorrow’s Construction Workforce Together
The Building Futures Partnership brings together the University of Arizona, Pima Community College, and industry leaders to connect Southern Arizona students with hands-on experiences, education pathways, and careers in construction.
About the Partnership
The Building Futures Partnership is a collaborative initiative between the University of Arizona and Pima Community College. It strengthens construction education, workforce development, and career exploration across Southern Arizona.
The partnership builds on the long-standing success of Southern Arizona Construction Career Days (SACCD), which has engaged more than 15,000 students from over 150 schools since 2014. While Construction Career Days remains a cornerstone event, Building Futures expands the vision into a year-round effort focused on education pathways, workforce readiness, and industry engagement.
